Pizza Picazzo

http://www.picazzos.com

Have you noticed that many of my food blogs surround the art of pizza? This place truly represented the art of pizza, without incurring a two hour wait. They offer a super selection of salads, specialty pizzas and desserts. To start, we sampled two of their fabulous salads, the Chopped Italian and the Fresh Pear Gorgonzola. I wish I had someone with me who loves Gorgonzola as much as I do, but none the less, Patrick enjoyed the pear salad, but NO ONE liked it as much as the Chopped Italian salad which is a MUST HAVE if you go there, FULL of fabulous items such as garbanzo beans, pepperoni, crunchy croutons, mozzarella, and tomatoes, it was packed full of flavor!
The highlight of the meal was most definitely the pizza! We ordered the Perfect Blend on their thin crust, which was smothered with Alfredo sauce, topped with spinach, mushrooms, and Italian Sausage, and then covered in mozzarella. Their Italian sausage was full of flavor, and the vegetables added the perfect flavor. We also tried the Original Butter Garlic crust topped with sausage and pepperoni. I have nothing more to say than, YUM!!! Make sure you aren't planning a romantic outing afterwards because when they say garlic, they mean GARLIC! No dessert this time, but I am hoping to go back and try their giant cookie topped with ice cream some day soon!
We went to the location at the Scottsdale Promenade, but they have locations around the Valley, Sedona, Flagstaff and just recently opened a location in Oregon! So, no matter where you are, you should be able to have a taste of this DELICIOUS slice of pie!
